Blessed Chiara Badano was a vibrant, athletic Italian teenager who radiated joy and faith. Diagnosed with a rare and painful form of bone cancer at just 17, she offered her suffering to Jesus, often saying, “If this is what You want, Jesus, so do I.” Her radiant peace and love for Christ touched everyone around her. Beatified in 2010, Chiara is a shining example of holiness in modern times.
