The Act of Contrition is a beautiful prayer to pray for children not only preparing for Confession/Reconciliation, but as a frequent act of love and contrition to our ever-merciful Father. Tracing the letters can help improve handwriting while aiding in memorization for new learners or deeper meditation on the words for those who already know the prayer.
The default wording for each version has the more formal Thee/Thy/Thou wording, not the photograph with the actual board example, but there are MANY versions out there!
If you would like wording other than what is shown, please do the following:
1. Select “Custom wording” + your lettering style preference (print, cursive, lined, unlined) under the second dropdown menu
2. E-mail me (emily.dieter@tracingtradition) within 24 hours of your order placement with:
a. your order number
b. the exact wording and punctuation you prefer
If you choose custom wording, but I do not receive the e-mail containing that alternate wording within 24 hours of the order placement, I will need to cancel and refund your order.
Note: I was unable to add another image, so the V. 2 cursive example is not shown, but it would have an identical cursive lettering style to Version 1’s cursive, but the WORDING would be identical to the wording in the example graphic for the print/manuscript Version 2.
