The interactive board features a simple design as a nod to the purposeful starkness of this season of penitence. The purple background (the primary color of this liturgical season) is from a scanned watercolor sheet that I painted specially for this design.

You have these main design options: two font options (one in an elegant, simple all-capital font, and the other a more calligraphic-style) and the inclusion or exclusion of a hand-drawn watercolor crown of thorns “hanging” on the upper write corner of the writing area. A pragmatic resource you can use Lenten season after Lenten season for years to come.

Board options (all are approximately 1/8″ thick, dimensions may differ slightly due to heat press shrinkage):

– 7.5″x9″ or 8″x10.3″ MDF (very glossy surface with rounded corners, but avoid heat, water, and high humidity- may warp)
or
– 8″x10″ acrylic (more prone to warping and may have less smooth surface, but hand washable in cold to warm water with mild soap)
or
– 8”x10” steel with magnetic top surface! NOT recommended for use by children. The edges are a little sharp and the coating may chip at the edges with frequent handling. Better suited to hanging on fridge or wall with proper application. Very limited stock.

-All MDF and acrylic boards are approximately 1/8″ thick, and should be very durable. Handmade using a heat press, so allow for some slight warping and possible slight ghosting, which will not affect functionality.
– Erase with soft cloth or facial tissue. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
– Free standard black dry-erase marker (may be different from one shown in photos) included!
– Also now included with all orders: one small hook-and-loop dot set per marker in case you would like to have a way to “keep” the marker with the board! Simply adhere the clearer dot to the board, and the other fluffier dot to the marker or marker cap. Let sit for 15 minutes before use!
