ORIGINAL Holy Family Christmas Painting

This is an original 5×7 inch oil painting, entitled “Family Cradle.” Painting was completed on a 5×7” swatch of canvas (not stretched), and comes pre-framed in a simple wooden frame which can can be hung on the wall or stand up on a shelf.

In this piece, we see our Lady’s mantle, curved under Our Lord like a crib, signifying a mother’s vocation to both comfort and nurture.
Saint Joseph’s mantle, encircling the Holy Family and signifying a father’s vocation to provide and protect.
Christ in the center. Light emitting from His sweet face and encircling them all. Christ is the heart of the family, bringing light and hope even in the darkest of times.
